We were met with the challenging task of removing some old twisted wooden slats that formed the frontage of the building at the main entrance. Once removed we had to design a support system to enable us to mount the panels to the remaining steel frame, this was achieved by installing heavy gauge Unistrut to form a backbone to carry the solar rails that the panels are mounted to. We then installed 43 large 500w solar panels to the side and front aspects of the building, this has completely transformed the look of the building not only providing a fantastic focal point but also creating a green energy solution at the same time for this forward-thinking company.
